Mixed Paper and Cardboard Recycling

"Mixed Paper" is basically what the name implies: all types of paper thatcan be recycled together. Mixed paper is typically collected in large green carts rolling carts or smaller deskside mixed paper boxes. These containers are available free of charge from RecycleWorks. recycle icon

  • Milk and orange juice cartons (not foil lined)
  • Metal spiral notebooks
  • Old calendars
  • Outdated brochures
  • Unsoiled exam table paper
  • NCR Paper
  • Paper bags (not soiled or wet);
  • Staples are OK
  • Sticky notes are OK
  • Shredded paper (place in paper bag)

  • Tissues, napkins or paper towels
  • Hardcover books
  • Photographs
  • Blueprints/Bluelines
  • Carbon paper
  • Plastic transparencies or film
  • Food or candy wrappers
  • Paper cups, plates or any paper that has come in direct contact with food
