On January 1, 2011 Recology of San Mateo County will be the new garbage service provider in North Fair Oaks. You will soon be receiving new carts at your curb for garbage, recycling and compost (yard trimming and food scraps). These carts are now going to be collected by a truck that has mechanical arms. This new type of truck requires that your garbage, recycling and compost carts be placed at the curb for servicing on your garbage day.
