Remove all tinsel, lights, decorations and stands from your holiday tree. Make sure trees are 8 feet or under. If it's taller than 8 feet, then please cut the tree into shorter lengths. Leave tree or tree pieces next to your green Compost Cart. After January 31st, trees need to be cut into pieces and placed inside the Compost Cart. The pieces must fit inside.

Multi-Family Dwellings: Call us to determine the best location for a consolidation of loose trees or to place a bin or drop box.

Remove stands, lights, tinsel, ornaments, and other decorations. Cut tree into 4-foot sections. Place trees next to (not in) your Yard Waste cart on your regular collection day. Multi-family residents must call Customer Service to arrange for tree pick up.

Trees will be picked up between December 26-January 31 on your regular service day.

Trees are no longer accepted at the Recycling Yard.

Trees must be curbside for service.

Trees must be 8 feet in length or less. Please removal all ornaments, tinsel, lights and tree stands. Flocked trees are ok. No bags please.

Pacifica Residents Only - If you are unable to place tree curbside during this period, cut up your tree and place into your green Organics cart. Make sure the lid closes completely for service.

Collected at curbside

Tree must be cut into four (4) foot sections. No stands. Remove all lights and decorations. Place trees next to yard waste cart.

Accepts flocked trees (not recycled).
After January 15, you must call Allied Waste to schedule a tree pick-up. A fee will apply.

No Stand. Remove all decorations and lights. Cut tree to 4-foot lengths and place sections curbside.

Will accept flocked trees. After January 30, all trees must be cut up to fit loosely in your compostables cart.
