2009/2010 Holiday Tree Recycling Guide
Tree Trimming Tips
-
Flocked trees cannot be made into compost due to their chemical content. However, Allied Waste of San Carlos, and Ox Mountain Landfill will accept flocked trees for other use.
-
If you choose to use tinsel, make sure that all of it is removed before recycling your tree.
- Do not bag your tree. If you do, it will not be recycled.
