Eco Design Resources Eco Design Resources:
A showroom in San Carlos that provides beautiful environmental products for buidling, renovation, or decorating your home. They offer a large variety of green building materials all in one place and can provide interior design help if desired. The showroom includes a mini kitchen and bedroom setups. The store also sells no VOC paints and finishes and other things that are sometimes hard to find. Their website has comprehensive information on many products. They can also recommend installers for their products, painting contractors, etc.
Green Resource Center GreenHomeGuide:
GreenHomeGuide offers unbiased green building product reviews and project advice from professionals and homeowners like you. Know-How articles answer the important questions – why remodel green, what to do, and how to do it – about your kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, or nursery remodel. Every week a new interview, tips list, or case study is published. GreenHomeGuide also offers a Product Directory (countertops, paints & stains, flooring, furniture, stone & tile) juried by green building professionals. Directories of local, experienced green building professionals (architects, builders, interior designers, consultants) and retailers are also available.

Guide to Green Building Wood Sources:
Rainforest Alliance, an accredited certifier of FSC forest sustainability standards, compiled and established A Smart Guide to Green Building Wood Sources. It contains a listing of FSC-certified suppliers, with contact and product information, arranged according to product type. This information was provided to allow for easier location of companies that carry FSC-certified wood. The list is continually updated and can be downloaded from their website.

Architects, Designers, Planners for Social Responsibility Architects, Designers, Planners for Social Responsibility (ADPSR):
This reference targets Northern Californian builders and also has information on how to become a member of ADPSR.
Building Concerns Building Concerns:
Building Concerns compiles and disseminates the most current green building and development information available. On their website you will find lists of Northern California architects, consultants, planners, etc.
Build It Green Build It Green:
Professionals listed as Certified Green Building Professionals (CGBPs) have completed an in-depth training course in green building practices. The certification program is administered by Build It Green and is open to all California building professionals (architects, contractors, engineers, interior designers, real estate professionals, solar contractors, speciality trades, etc...).
U.S. Green Building Council U.S. Green Building Council:
The U.S. Green Building Council has thousands of members including contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants. They provide the whole list of members along with links to each member's website.
