Lights Out San Francisco (and, to come, other places)
The City of San Francisco will be holding an energy conservation event on October 20th. Residents are invited to turn off all non-essential lighting and install one energy efficient compact fluorescent bulb.
Information on how other cities can get involved for future participation in a similar event to be held in March 2008, across the United States, is at the Lights Out San Francisco website.
