August 8th - 17th

San Mateo County Fair

Visit our SUSTAINABLE GARDEN EXHIBIT located in front of the Redwood Building.

Master Composters from the County of San Mateo Master Composter Program have built an exciting exhibit demonstrating how the use of native plants, composting, using integrated pest management techniques (IPM), and the creative re-use of materials can create a garden that is less polluting, less destructive to the environment and more life sustaining.

Please visit our exhibit that includes a working compost bin and a live worm bin. Take a turn at composting and get all your composting questions answered.
